More about
Solo Bass I & II

"Thanks to Alexander, Jeremy, David, the people who put on the shows, and my many teachers and inspirations."
As a member of numerous jazz, improvisational, experimental, orchestral, rock and you-name-it ensembles (including MESTO, The Watts Ensemble, Surrealestate, Melic Sub Rosa and others), Jeff Schwartz has been providing ample evidence of his depth and versatility for years. With Solo Bass I & II, his first unaccompanied release, Jeff puts his bass in the spotlight and, demonstrating his immense gifts as a soloist, dazzles the listener with prismatic expressions of experimental material in performances that are at once intimate and grand.
