On recuperating from the attack of a giant fanged octopus: Never mind how or why the attack occurred, let's just say it happened. You're bitten and bleeding, with sore muscles, covered in slime and ink, and your best shirt is ruined. You survived, and there is no denying: You've learned some new moves.
The music on this recording was completely improvised at various times over a few months during late 2009 and early 2010. No overdubs, no punching in, no compression. Warts and all. Performed at either Cycleway Coffee in Hermon California (thanks Chad Lewis-Hess) or at Hill Sounds Studio in Montecito Heights California (thanks Cheryl Banks-Smith).
